About Carnival Tropicale
The Carnival Tropicale is a new, 180,000-gross-ton Excel-class ship scheduled to debut in spring 2028, accommodating over 6,400 passengers. As the fifth Excel-class vessel, it will be built by Meyer Werft and powered by LNG. This modern ship honors the original 1982 Tropicale, Carnival's first purpose-built vessel.
